About

Vision

We aim to be the best environment for lost and stray animals, to eliminate animal cruelty in Union County, to educate the public about animal welfare, and to implement spay & neuter programs to reduce the overpopulation of homeless animals.

Mission

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter and rescue committed to providing a safe, humane, high-save environment to connect all animals with their forever family, and reunite lost animals with their rightful home.

We are committed to working with local law enforcement and the community at large to provide an education resource for animal management and care. Saving animal lives, one at a time.

Meet our staff

On the front lines, our staff is ready and willing to help our guests find their forever home and family.

Meet our board

The Blue Mountain Humane Association (BMHA) is committed to transparency and the full disclosure of BMHA policies, procedures, and finances. Transparency allows our sponsors and donors to better understand how we utilize their generous support, and allows us to obtain additional funding to further our mission. Please feel welcome to send us an email at board@bmhumane.org, and stay tuned to this page for updates.
